Famous Last Words, Trapped in the lab
This week, not much happened for fun, everything was focused on classwork, particularly in my graduate studies. My capstone class had to have the aircraft for each sub team built, so that was a massive undertaking, and then had to build a final, completed prototype as well as write up a almost completed draft of the report. My main portion of this project was the report writing, because it was something that I could do while completing all of my master's research and research assistant work out at the Advanced Dynamics Laboratory. For research, we hit a massive ramp up in workload, as now we are moving to both the flight computer programming and control law portion as well as the actual physical construction of the octorotor. This has taken up almost all my time, as I spent almost all of my week in the lab when I was not in class, and all of the weekend, so it was rather uneventful on any other front.
The only thing outside of this work I really did was go out for a early Valentine's Day date with my girlfriend, at our favorite restaurant Das Boot here in Norman. The German food there reminds me of exactly what my grandmother used to cook for us, and is a great representation of German cuisine overall. We will finish the date next Friday when we go and watch Black Panther together, because that is a movie we have been looking forward too for awhile now.
I am hoping next week is a lot less busy, cause I would appreciate a little time to myself, even if just to get some sleep, but we will see, because capstone has even more milestones coming up and so free time is never guaranteed.

Here is one of my favorite airplanes, the P-51 Mustang
Hey John-Paul, it's cool to hear about that research again. I am glad it is progressing well. I have heard pretty good things about Das Boot before, and I think I might finally try it out next week. Also, Black Panther is a pretty amazing movie. There is even a reference to Hanuman buried in there that was pretty neat.
